Bun Badmind !!!!

When a Jamaican says you have “badmind” it is very similar to the concept of the “evil eye”. To be an individual with “badmind” is a terrible thing. To be one who is never happy for another person’s success or to focus all your negative thoughts on others and only wish good for yourself or sometimes there are those who are so truly poisoned they can not even bring themselves to wish good for their own person. An insidiousness that is beyond the greater reason of the collective consciousness. So when a Caribbean person tells you that you are too “badmind”- seriously check yourself and rethink and regroup.

Another thing not to be is “red-eye” to be jealous and envious of things that belong to others or their overall progress.

That is the lesson for tonight do not be a “hater”. Do better. Live better. Love better.
